Still more parts...and the cover has been removed!

After a full week away from work, spent in the yard and painting my daughters’ bedroom, I am ready to begin. I think I will be using some vacation time to get going on this project. While I was off, I pulled the cover and took some shots of my pony.

July 14th is the Pony Trails run from Bellevue Community College. I will be renting a new Mustang GT convertible (tried for a GT350H) to cruise the back roads of East King County with 250 other Mustangs. That same weekend is the mega round-up with over 1,200 Mustangs and Fords in attendance.

During the last two weeks, I received my new chrome export brace and an alarm.

I have been working with Peter Faull at Mustang Connection (in Ontario, Canada) to get a floor console made to work with my bench seat. Peter has been more than accommodating in customizing one of his existing consoles to work with my car. My 20-year center console quest appears to be over…finally.

The photos are of the prototype. The end console will be finished with black carpet on the sides, covered in black vinyl, and trimmed out similar to the Mustang Connection's full console.
